The for Friday, June 3, teases that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will start packing after a Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) faceoff. Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) early homecoming will also set up some drama, so here’s what Y&R has in store.
At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will act like she overreacted about what happened with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and will send Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) on her way.
However, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will push Phyllis for the truth and find out about all the drama that went down with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Phyllis will talk about Diane causing her to fall back into old habits, but Amanda will think Phyllis has to take responsibility for her mistakes.
After Amanda insists this was a momentary slip, she’ll urge Phyllis to do whatever it takes to fix things with Jack.
At the Abbott house, Jack will dodge Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) questions about Phyllis and turn his attention to the Marchetti acquisition.
Kyle will be thrilled over Jack deciding it’s the right move for Jabot – though they’ll have to get board approval before it’s a done deal.
Once Summer returns, Jack will leave in a hurry.
Although Summer and Kyle will be concerned over whatever’s going on with their parents, Kyle will think they have to let Phyllis and Jack figure this out for themselves.
After Kyle delivers the good news about Marchetti, Summer will be over the moon.
Kyle and Summer will agree this Genoa City is home – the place where they want to raise Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).
At Crimson Lights, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will join Diane and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) at their table.
Allie will talk about sticking around a little longer – and Diane will pipe up about staying in town, too.
As Allie mulls over her next career moves, Traci will suggest she should tour the Jabot lab and will mention that Keemo Abbott (Philip Moon) used to work there.
Allie will admit she wants to learn more about the family she didn’t know she had – and the dad she thought she knew.
Once Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) comes along, he’ll playfully bicker with Allie about what the latest Grinning Soul podcast was about.
After Noah and Allie step away, Diane will wonder if something is brewing and will think they’re cute together.
Traci will acknowledge that Noah brings out another side of Allie.
After Traci finds out Diane apologized to Allie for her manipulation, she’ll admit Diane seems to be doing all the right things.
On the patio, Allie will talk about rethinking everything due to Keemo’s death and finding a new family.
All the changes have left Allie wondering about what job she should have and where she should be.
When Noah brings up the podcast again and tries to compromise on what it was about, Allie will joke that she’s still right and Noah missed the point entirely.
In Ashland’s suite, he’ll be served with the restraining order and guzzle a drink.
Meanwhile, Kyle will get a text about the restraining order being in effect and will know they just poured gasoline on the fire.
In Victoria’s office, she’ll be home early from her spa trip with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
It’ll be due to some finance meeting that Victoria wanted to attend in person.
Nikki will point out that Victoria was quiet for most of the trip and will question if it worked – if Victoria was able to get Ashland out of her system.
Victoria will talk about figuring out that she can’t run from her feelings and will believe she must face the sadness, humiliation and whatever else.
However, Victoria won’t like her family acting like they’ll have to save her from herself.
Since Victoria will be fed up with all the micromanaging, she’ll insist she’s not going to talk through this with anyone – even Nikki.
Afterward, Nikki will text Victor about being home and not knowing if the trip worked.
Victor will be at Newman Media when he gets a call about Ashland’s arrival and agrees to let him enter.
Ashland will confront Victor over the restraining order and will assume he was behind it.
Victor won’t deny his involvement and will think Harrison needs protection.
After Victor warns Ashland not to violate the judge’s decision, he’ll rethink that.
Victor will decide that Ashland should violate the restraining order since they’d all like to see him behind bars!
Ashland will get that he’s made mistakes, but he’ll act like those came before he was changed before Victoria’s love.
Victor won’t want to hear any of that “sentimental crap” and won’t think Ashland deserves forgiveness.
Once Victor warns Ashland to take the money he gave him and “get the hell out of town,” Ashland will accept that he’s not redeemable in Victor’s eyes.
Nevertheless, Ashland will point out that Victoria still loves him.
The more Victor tries to control Victoria and treat her like a child, the more she’ll resent Victor for driving Ashland away – at least according to Ashland.
Although Ashland will warn about Victor facing consequences of his own, Victor will once again push him to leave.
Later, Ashland will think back to Victor’s words and start packing his suitcase at The Grand Phoenix.
Back with Victor, he’ll greet Nikki in Victoria’s office.
Victor will wonder why Nikki didn’t keep Victoria away longer – that way, he would’ve had a chance to get rid of Ashland.
Nikki will admit Victoria insisted on coming home sooner. As Victoria appears, she’ll hug Ashland and downplay a flareup following her accident.
Victor will mention that Ashland paid him a visit for a very productive conversation.
When Victor says their troubles may soon be over, Victoria will ask what her dad’s done now.
